Initial public release of DeckyEQ: a live PipeWire equalizer and portable preset library for Decky Loader.

Added

  • Ten adjustable EQ bands with bell, low-shelf and high-shelf filters, live frequency and Q editing, plus separate bass and treble sliders.
  • Up to 64 user presets with save, rename, delete, draft recovery, and JSON import/export for individual sounds or preset banks.
  • Built-in Flat and Legion Go S · Original presets. The Go S preset preserves the community configuration's parsed filters and input gain; its exact parameters and attribution are documented in the repository.
  • Output selection, speaker-only bypass, adjustable input level and optional automatic headroom.
  • Full physical-output volume before enabling EQ, with the listening volume transferred to the virtual output and restored when EQ is disabled.
  • Compact QAM navigation and a separate About panel with the plugin version, BSD 3-Clause license and verified GitHub release downloads.

Internal

  • GitHub Actions passed all 101 Python tests and 28 UI tests on Linux, type checking and the production build. The installation ZIP is the artifact from that successful run.
  • Uses the system's built-in PipeWire filters without installing extra audio effect packages or requiring root privileges.
  • Preset exchange uses schema version 2 and imports the earlier development format.
  • Native PipeWire controls, preset exchange and routing restoration were checked on Legion Go 2. Listening, physical controller navigation and suspend/resume acceptance remain open; see the validation record for the exact scope.
