Soil Report

The Soil Report is a full-farm overview of every field's soil status, accessible at any time during play.

Opening the report

Open the in-game menu (ESC) and select the Soil & Fertilizer tab in the tab bar. The report is the Farm Overview tab; Treatment Plan is the second tab. Works on foot or in a vehicle.

Summary bar

At the top of the report:

Indicator What it shows
Fields tracked Total number of fields with soil data
Need fertilizer Count of fields flagged as needing treatment
Farm Health Weighted average condition across all owned fields - shown as "Good (82%)", "Fair (61%)", etc.
Difficulty Current simulation difficulty (Simple / Realistic / Hardcore)

Farm Health uses all five soil parameters (N/P/K/pH/OM) plus weed, pest, and disease pressure in its calculation. It is a meaningful snapshot of your whole farm's condition, not just nutrient levels.

Field table

Each row represents one field, sorted by urgency - fields that need the most attention appear at the top.

Column What it shows
Field # Field ID from the map
N / P / K Nutrient level in ppm, color-coded by status
pH Current pH value, color-coded
OM Organic matter percentage, color-coded
Weed / Pest Pressure scores (0–100%) - shown when respective settings are on
Last Crop Most recently harvested crop on this field
Rotation Rotation status - Legume Bonus, Fatigue: Same Crop, or Rotation: OK
Status Overall health badge - worst-case across N/P/K/pH/OM/weed/pest/disease

Color coding:

Color Meaning
🟢 Green Good - no action needed
🟡 Yellow Fair - consider treating before next crop
🔴 Red Poor - action needed

The Status badge reflects the worst value across all tracked dimensions. A field with optimal nutrients but high weed pressure will show "Poor", not "Good".

Field detail view

Click the button on any row to open that field's full detail panel.

The detail view shows:

  • N / P / K - value in ppm, status label, and a one-line hint (e.g. "Needs Nitrogen", "Nitrogen: Optimal")
  • pH - value and status (Optimal / Monitor / Adjust)
  • Organic Matter - value and status (Optimal / Maintain / Increase)
  • Weed / Pest / Disease - percentage, severity level (Low / Moderate / High), and whether a protective treatment is active
  • Yield forecast - estimated harvest penalty based on current N/P/K deficit vs. optimal threshold
  • Recommendations - bulleted summary of what the field needs, pulled together from all the above

Press Back or Escape to return to the field table.

Recommendations summary

Recommendations are generated from the full state of the field:

Recommendation Cause Treatment
Needs Nitrogen N status Poor Liquid fertilizer, UAN, anhydrous, urea
Low Nitrogen N status Fair Light N top-dress
Needs Phosphorus P status Poor MAP, DAP, starter, liquid fertilizer
Needs Potassium K status Poor Potash, slurry, digestate
Adjust pH pH Poor Lime or liquid lime
Monitor pH pH Fair Apply lime soon
Increase Organic Matter OM Poor Manure, compost, or chop straw
Pest Risk Pest pressure ≥ Medium Insecticide
Disease Risk Disease pressure ≥ Medium Fungicide
Yield ~-X% Nutrient deficit above threshold Address worst nutrient first
Soil Health: Optimal All values in good range -

PDA Treatment Plan

For a prioritised action list, open the in-game menu (ESC) → Soil & Fertilizer tab and select Treatment Plan. Fields are sorted by urgency with the primary deficiency identified for each. Click any row to open the per-field Treatment Prescription dialog with specific product recommendations.

You can also reach the Treatment Plan tab directly from the in-game map sidebar by clicking the Treatment Plan button when a soil overlay layer is active.

Pagination

The report shows 10 fields per page. Use Previous and Next to navigate. The page indicator shows Fields X–Y of Z | Page A of B.

Closing the report
