I was reading something by Andy Matuschak about the importance of rephrasing as a sort of pseudo spaced repetition technique.
It occurred to me that we could have an activity just like this -- essentially, ask the user to rephrase something in their own words, and then grade them based on how well their rephrasing matches or exceeds the informational content of the original. The user will still get to keep and use their note after that point, obviously.
