ChronoMate v1.0.3 Release Notes

Accuracy is everything. Whether you're benchmarking a high-end build or just checking your backyard plinker, this update ensures your data is as close to the "real world" as possible.

🌟 New Features:

  • Calibration Mode: You can now calibrate ChronoMate against external devices. Whether you're using a professional lab chronograph or a trusted field unit, you can now input "Control Values" to sync your data.

  • Dynamic Data Recalculation: When you set a compensation factor, ChronoMate doesn't just look forward—it can recalculate your existing shot data based on your calibration settings.

  • Smart Compensation Modes: Choose between Median (best for averaging out variances) or Trust External (strictly following your control device).

  • Calibration History: Manage and view your calibration entries directly in the Settings menu to set up your device's consistency perfectly.

🛠️ Fixes:

  • The "Third Time's a Charm" Network Fix: Another general overhaul of the networking layer. It turns out networking is hard, but I've squeezed out more stability for Android 12+ devices!

  • Ballistics Engine UI: Refined the physics parameter inputs (Drag, Magnus, Air Density) for a smoother fine-tuning experience.

Pro-Tip for this Release:
To start calibrating, head to Settings > Calibration, tap Start Calibration, and fire a few shots while comparing them to a secondary chronograph. Enter the "Control Value" for each shot, and ChronoMate will handle the math when you select your compensation method!
