HDAUDBUS.SYS MSI Support

This option enables Message Signaled Interrupts (MSI) mode for the AMD GPU audio driver (HDAUDBUS.SYS).

What is MSI Mode?

MSI is a more efficient way for devices to send interrupts to the CPU compared to the older line-based method. This can reduce latency and improve stability in some scenarios (especially with high refresh rate monitors or when using audio + gaming).

How to use

  1. Open MPO-GPU-FIX
  2. Go to the BSOD FIX / AUDIO section
  3. Select the proper PCI Device (use INFO button as guide to verify if proper PCI Device is selected)
  4. Toggle it ON
  5. Reboot for changes to take effect

Supported GPUs

  • Most modern AMD GPUs (RX 5000 series and newer recommended)
  • Works best on Windows 10/11

Warning

  • Only use if you are experiencing audio-related stuttering or high DPC latency
  • Revert to default if you notice any audio issues after enabling

Note: This is considered an advanced tweak. Most users won't need it.
