📱 Touch controls missing on some phones
On some devices (e.g. Xiaomi / Redmi) the game thought a controller was connected. It showed controller buttons ("RT Jump") instead of the touch controls, so you couldn't play or skip cutscenes.
- Controller mode now turns on only when you actually use a controller (press a button or move a stick)
- Touching the screen switches back to touch controls right away
⚡ Smoother frame rate
The original game made the processor wait for the graphics chip to finish all its work many times per second. While web-swinging and in action this caused constant stutter, even on high-end phones.
- That wait is gone
- Stuttering frames while swinging through the city: from over 100 down to just a handful in the same stretch
