🚀 Major Root-Hiding Update for Exynos 9810 (S9 / S9+ / Note 9)

This is a massive milestone update for the DS-ACK kernel, bringing modern, industry-standard root hiding to our legacy 4.9 kernel.

We’ve successfully bridged the gap between the latest KSU-Next environment and the highly stable SUSFS v1.5.5 backend, allowing you to pass even the strictest environment checks on NobleROM OneUI 7 (Android 15).

Updated backend to the experimental KSU-Next v3.1.0-legacy-susfs branch.

Universal SUSFS v1.5.5 Integrated

Fully backported official SUSFS v1.5.5 kernel patches to support latest KSU-Next manual hooks.

API Shim Implemented

Patched supercalls.c and kernel headers to allow modern KSU-Next features to work with the legacy 4.9 filesystem.

Full sidex15 Module Compatibility

Now 100% compatible with the sidex15 Universal SUSFS Module.

Universal Installer

The .zip automatically detects and flashes the correct kernel for:

  • S9 (starlte)
  • S9+ (star2lte)
  • Note 9 (crownlte)
    Includes Korean variants.

🛡️ How to Get the “SUS Checkmark”

To achieve maximum root hiding and pass integrity checks, do not use the default SUSFS demo module. Use the sidex15 universal module instead:

  1. Flash the DS-ACK-V2.0 kernel zip via TWRP
  2. Boot your device and open KernelSU-Next Manager
  3. Download and flash the latest sidex15 Universal SUSFS Module (v1.5.2+ Rev 27 or newer)
  4. Reboot your device
  5. Open:
    KSU-Next Manager → Modules
    You should now see the “SUS checkmark”, confirming root hiding is active
