v1.0.17 — Soul truncation fix + tighter tool descriptions
What's new
Soul truncation fixed
The 2 KB snapshot limit was too low for a built-up soul. The threshold is now 6 KB — most souls will fit entirely. When a soul does exceed the limit, the truncated preview is now 1 500 chars (was 500) and the `initialize` response opens with an explicit `ACTION REQUIRED` directive telling the AI to call `resources/read` on the soul URI before responding. Previously the plugin just set `meta.soul_truncated: true` and hoped the AI noticed.
Tighter tool descriptions
- `remember`: "always call `search_memory` first" is now in the tool description itself, not just the system instructions. The server-side duplicate flag is documented.
- `search_memory`: reordered to appear first; description says "call before remember."
- `forget`: "do not infer deletion from tone or context — the user must name the specific thing."
- `context` parameter on all write tools: now says "strongly recommended — powers the History log."
Starter prompt removed
The copy-paste starter prompt has been removed from Settings → Connect. The `initialize` handshake now owns first-connection onboarding with a numbered ACTION REQUIRED block. Having both was confusing.
