  • GitHub updater — Sanitize owner/repo for API URLs; only accept HTTPS package links on GitHub-controlled hosts. Stricter wp_remote_get defaults, bounded JSON decode, capped release notes / tag / token length; no plugin-details modal without a trusted zip.
  • Performance — Per-request memo avoids duplicate GitHub API calls during update checks; single init hook for view translations + share strings; update_meta_cache when enriching result images.

Ships vibe-check.zip for Plugins → Add New → Upload.
