Vibe Check 1.0.9

GitHub updater (important)

  • Match your install to WordPress’s update list using wp_normalize_path as well as realpath — fixes sites where updates never appeared (symlinks, open_basedir, odd WP_PLUGIN_DIR layouts).
  • Apply GitHub data to the update transient at priority 999 so other code is less likely to strip it.
  • Cache GitHub /releases/latest JSON with site transients (same family as core’s plugin updates).
  • Optional VIBE_CHECK_UPDATER_DEBUG log line when no plugin basename matched; filter vibe_check_github_updater_collect_slugs to force basenames if needed.

After upgrading: Settings → Vibe Check → Clear update caches, then Dashboard → Updates → Check again.
