- Smart Hybrid Deletion: A robust fallback mechanism that identifies and deletes records using either MongoDB ObjectIDs or custom ShortCodes, ensuring zero-fail operations.
- Atomic Increments: Efficiently updates click counts using MongoDB persistence.
- Middleware Integration: Implements Express JSON parsing and CORS for secure cross-origin communication.
- Request: Frontend sends the long URL to the Express server.
- Process: Server generates a unique
shortIdand stores it in MongoDB. - Redirect: The server listens for the short code, increments the click counter in the DB, and redirects the user to the destination.
- Visualize: The Dashboard fetches all links and renders analytics in real-time.
