Prerelease for testing ahead of 2026.8.0.

Highlights

  • Your devices become first-class. The devices you track in the Home Assistant energy dashboard get their own chip on the scene, curve in the timeline and slice in the day view. Bundle them into up to four monitoring groups, each with its own name, colour and icon (this replaces the old single custom entity).
  • The Solar Day ring: a 24-hour dial that tells the story of your consumption against the sun, per device or group, across Now, Week, Month and Year.
  • Richer clock and battery views, a calmer scene, and 27 curated European languages.

New in b3

  • Older-iPad / WebKit fix (#304): the scene no longer renders only in its top half on devices like the first-generation 12.9" iPad Pro. Please update and let me know if it now draws fully.
  • Per-entity display (#308): show or hide each chip and set its icon and colour, plus scene toggles (timeline, extra info, sun times) and a reset button, all from the editor.
  • Smoother scrubbing: the sky and shadows now follow the timeline scrub live instead of snapping once you pause.
  • Softer day/night colour transition and a wider camera pitch range (from fully top-down to nearly horizontal).
  • Freely resizable card: shrink it as far as you like in the sections view, with a sensible default height.
  • Fix: monitoring-group chips now disappear when you scrub into the future.
