Critical Fixes for Samsung S24 Ultra & Android 14

Fixed Issues:

  • ✅ Fixed crash on Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 14) - App now properly requests runtime permissions
  • ✅ Fixed endless update loop - Version checking now working correctly
  • ✅ Added Android 13+ permission support - POST_NOTIFICATIONS and READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
  • ✅ Improved error handling - Game initialization wrapped in try-catch to prevent crashes
  • ✅ Better permission requests - Properly handles modern Android permission system

Technical Changes:

  • Updated AndroidManifest permissions for Android 13+
  • New requestRequiredPermissions() method with proper runtime permission handling
  • Try-catch blocks around DownloadManager and BroadcastReceiver
  • Better logging in VersionChecker and GameActivity
  • Version checker now properly compares versions

Permissions Now Requested:

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+)
  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+)
  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 6-12)

*Fixes app crashes and update prompts on modern Samsung devices
