Rush 2049 PC v0.3.2 Original & Remaster

The supplied Rush 2049 PC artwork is now the desktop, installer, launcher and executable icon in all four choices.

Artwork credit: POOTERMAN. Each installation includes ARTWORK-CREDITS.txt. The supplied PNG and seven-size ICO are attached below.

Choose your Windows EXE:

1. Original without libultraship / ImGui
2. Remastered without libultraship / ImGui
3. Original with libultraship / ImGui
4. Remastered with libultraship / ImGui

Game code is preserved: native-menu choices retain the v0.2.0 core; libultraship/ImGui choices retain the v0.3.1 core with fullscreen fill and automatic two-way cheat synchronization. libultraship supplies its Config component, with Dear ImGui settings and the existing SDL/RT64 backends.

Your own supported original US N64 ROM is required before installation and on every launch. No ROM is included, copied into the installation or cached as a fallback. Players need no Python or compiler tools. Remastered choices launch directly with the reviewed replacement textures and circuit lighting.

Install into a new app folder and retain the existing player-data folder. New shortcuts have distinct v0.3.2 names. Existing installations and historical downloads are preserved.

All twelve EXEs passed seven-size icon extraction/pixel checks, with game code sections unchanged. All four installers passed isolated external-ROM and upgrade-data preservation checks. Corresponding authored sources, license notices and checksums are included. Verification details.

Rush 2049 PC v0.3.1 — Original & Remaster

Four Windows download choices are available:

1. Original without libultraship / ImGui (v0.2.0)
2. Remastered without libultraship / ImGui (v0.2.0)
3. Original with libultraship / ImGui (v0.3.1)
4. Remastered with libultraship / ImGui (v0.3.1)

The v0.3.1 downloads fix fullscreen presentation: Fill screen defaults to On and stretches the complete game image across the display, including menus. Turn it off under Display to retain original proportions.

Cheats now synchronize both ways. In-game cheat-menu changes automatically update the launcher, including fog and mass values. Launcher cheat controls save immediately. Off cheats remain adjustable in the native menu. A newer launcher change takes precedence over a stale guest update.

Provide your own supported original US N64 ROM. No ROM is included. Setup checks it before installation; launcher and game check its chosen location and identity on every launch. No ROM copy or cached fallback is installed. Players need no Python or compiler tools. Each Remastered download launches directly and includes the reviewed replacement textures and circuit lighting.

Both v0.3.1 installers passed ROM, byte-order, Unicode-path and save-preservation checks. Configuration/cheat regression checks and bounded RTX 5080 render/shutdown tests passed. The user confirmed fullscreen fill and in-game cheat changes appearing in F5. This remains an experimental port; all modes, physical controllers and long-session stability are not certified. Residual jet audio crackling remains.

libultraship supplies its Config component; Dear ImGui supplies settings, while SDL and RT64 retain existing backends. Authored corresponding integration sources, dependency recipes, licenses and checksums are included. See V031-VERIFICATION.md.

Rush 2049 PC v0.3.0 — Original & Remaster

Current standalone downloads

• Remastered libultraship package: remastered visuals with libultraship Config and Dear ImGui settings. Launches Remaster directly; no Original/Remaster chooser.
• Original libultraship package: original visuals with the same settings.

Both include the Rush title icon, compact 800×600 default and custom window-size controls. Extract the ZIP and run its installer. You must provide your own supported US ROM; no ROM is bundled. Install into a new folder and retain your existing save directory. The remaster-only installer has a separate install folder and named shortcut. Historical combined downloads are retained below.

Windows v0.3.0 with Dear ImGui settings, the libultraship Config component, current controller mapping/submission support, Pak selection, and pre-Start cheat activation with Enable all cheats.

Bring your own original supported US N64 ROM. No ROM is included. Setup validates your file before installing, and both launcher and game validate it again before launch. Your ROM stays in your folder; there is no installed ROM copy or cached fallback.

Choose Original and Remaster Setup for both visual choices in one installation. Its launcher offers Original (original ROM textures) and Remaster (reviewed replacement textures and circuit lighting), using the same retained saves and controller settings. The smaller Original Setup contains no replacement texture pack.

No Python or compiler tools are needed by players. No drivers or services are installed. Four controller ports, named presets, custom bindings beside Keyboard and Unlisted controller submissions are available. Review area.

ROM rejection, byte orders, Unicode paths, install/upgrade save preservation, configuration/state checks and bounded RTX 5080 startup/shutdown checks passed. The release is experimental; this does not certify every gameplay mode, physical rumble device, second PC or long session. Residual jet crackling remains.

Checksums, corresponding authored integration source, dependency pins/patches and license notices are included. See the repository README and V030-VERIFICATION.md for details.

Icon-corrected installers

Use Rush2049-Combined-Icon-Corrected-Setup.exe for Original + Remaster, or Rush2049-Original-Icon-Corrected-Setup.exe for Original only. These retain the v0.3.0 game build and now embed the supplied Rush title artwork in the launcher, installer and desktop shortcut. Corresponding icon-fix integration sources and checksums are included. Your own ROM remains required. Choose a new installation folder; existing saves are retained. An existing Rush shortcut retains its old launch target and receives the new icon. To launch the new installation, open its Rush2049Original.exe. Existing downloads are preserved.

Latest: adjustable window update

Use Rush2049-Combined-Adjustable-Window-Setup.exe for Original + Remaster, or Rush2049-Original-Adjustable-Window-Setup.exe for Original only. Includes the Rush icon correction, a fresh 800×600 windowed default, resizable window borders and Display → Custom width/height controls. Use current window size then Apply and save to retain a dragged size. Requested windows fit the desktop usable area; fullscreen and rendering resolution remain independent. Existing resolution preferences are supported. Both installers passed external-ROM and save-preservation checks. The preview launch also verified its private Memory Pak attachment. Your own ROM remains required. Install into a new folder; preserve your existing save directory. Existing downloads are retained.

Original & Remastered PC v0.2.0 — Windows executables

Choose either ready-to-install Windows executable:

• Original: original game presentation with the native PC settings menus.
• Remastered 4x: the same executable features plus the reviewed 5,957-texture restoration pack and center-outward circuit lighting.

Supply your own supported US N64 ROM before installation. Setup validates it and remembers its external location; the game checks that file and its identity on every launch. z64, v64 and n64 byte orders are supported. No ROM, expanded game-data image or player saves are distributed. Players need no Python, compiler or build tools.

F1 opens persistent cheat controls with Enable Cheats, All Cheats and individual on/off selections. Enable before or after Start; choices transfer directly when the main menu runs. Click outside, Done, Escape or the close button to dismiss. F8 configures controllers, named Xbox One/wired N64/wireless N64 presets and individual remaps. F9 offers 720p, 1080p, 16:9 1440p, 21:9 1440p, 4K and VSync. F11 toggles fullscreen.

Use a new application folder for upgrades and keep the same player-data folder. Existing app folders are refused. An installed ROM copy is never used as a fallback.

This is an unofficial, unsigned experimental prerelease, tested on Windows/RTX 5080. Installer ROM gates, missing/moved/modified-ROM checks, byte orders and player-data preservation passed for both installers. The user confirmed selected cheats appear active in the game menu and the remastered circuit lighting looks correct. Persistent-panel and All Cheats controls passed component checks; all individual gameplay effects, broad physical controller/GPU coverage, long sessions and a fresh second-PC walkthrough remain open. Residual jet crackling remains a known issue.

GPL corresponding authored integration source, notices, package manifests and SHA256 checksums accompany the binaries. Original game artwork remains subject to its respective rights; the authored-code license does not grant rights to that artwork. The separate libultraship/Dear ImGui option is being developed independently.

Original PC v0.1.0 — Windows source preview

Superseded by v0.2.0 ready-to-install Original and Remastered executables.

Public original SDL2/RT64 option, released as an experimental Windows source preview. The separate libultraship/Dear ImGui option is still being developed.

Download the source setup ZIP, extract it to a short folder and follow README.md. You must supply your own supported original US N64 ROM and have Python, Git, CMake and the verified Visual Studio C++/Windows SDK toolchain. Setup generates private game sources and builds locally. No ROM, generated game/RSP source, executable, original artwork, saves or recordings are bundled.

Includes the reviewed runtime/RT64 source integration, existing F8 controller settings, separate persistent player data, original-menu circuit-lighting recipe, 50% jet-gain adjustment and optional local RT64 v5 texture-pack installation. The reviewed 5,957-texture remaster pack is retained locally and is not included in this download. Without a pack the game uses its ROM textures.

Installer/source checks and fresh PC1 build evidence are in VERIFICATION.md. Remaining limitations include residual jet crackling, startup hitches, wider hardware support, intermittent shutdown issues and unverified modes/variants/progression/endurance. This release is unsigned and has not been walked through on a fresh second PC; it is not a complete stable-port claim.

The attached checksum and manifest verify the source archive. Do not redistribute your resulting local ROM-bearing installation.
