Since we have available 3D printers, we decided to make the robot out of 3D prints. Combined with a custom PCB we could create a fairly small robot. Which was cost effective.
To make real robots you will need to 3D print the following files:
- Buttom
- MiddleLedMount
- Powercap
- Spacer
- Top
- Wheel
These are the parts that needs to be 3D printed.
In the robot we have used some diffused white acrylic parts. Since we didn't had the best camera available to capture the best images possible. The acrylic parts are placed above the LED's so the it is easier for the camera to capture the lights especially the colors of the lights.
You will need to laser cut the diffused white acrylic parts. For this we have made an Illustrator file for you that has the design of the parts in it.
