Sanctuary Mod Manager 0.13.0
A Mods page in Sanctuary's front menu (the cube in the sidebar, or F8 in the
menu and during a match) for UI mods: switch each one on and off and change
its settings. In a lobby, a Mods button beside Settings opens the lobby's Mods
panel, where the host picks gameplay mods for the match. The Mod Manager is
the base install every other mod goes on: it brings BepInEx, the mod loader
(which hot-loads every mod DLL under SanctuaryMods) and the mod framework
(Sanctuary.ModApi.dll).
New in 0.13.0 (with Mod API 1.8.0 and ModLoader 1.5.0):
Mod API 1.8.0
- Host Lua helpers for gameplay mods: Players, ArmyName, Ally and Enemy,
Guard and Report, Tell, SendToEachClient (sends each player only what
changed) and OnRequest (a request from a player, with who sent it).
Zone Control 0.5.1 and Phantom-X 0.2.1 are built on them. - If the lobby's Start check itself fails while gameplay mods are picked,
the start is refused and the host told why; a lobby with no gameplay mods
still starts. - Lighter in a lobby and in Lua panels; damage events and timers allocate
less per hit and per tick. - A Lobby options file that can't be read is kept as .bad instead of
overwritten.
ModLoader 1.5.0
- A broken or half-copied mod DLL no longer stops the copy already running.
- The mod folder is searched off the main thread; a folder it can't read is
skipped and said once. - Two copies of the same mod start only one, with a warning.
- On a hot reload the old copy is fully gone before the new one starts.
Mod Manager
- The unit picker opens faster and frees its art when the mod unloads.
- Lighter while the Mods page is open or a lobby is up.
This release updates BepInEx\plugins\Sanctuary.ModApi.dll and the loader.
Restart the game once after extracting: they never hot-reload.
The catch: Zone Control 0.5.1 and Phantom-X 0.2.1 need Mod API 1.8.0 on
every player's machine, so everyone in those lobbies needs this release. A
gameplay mod runs as code inside every player's game, the same trust as any
mod DLL. Only install gameplay mods from someone you trust.
- ModManager - the mod, for an install that has the Sanctuary Mod Manager (install that first if you haven't). Extract into the game's
enginefolder; it appears under UI Mods.
Client-side only: never changes the Lua files or the simulation, so a modded client stays lobby-compatible with unmodded players. Like any BepInEx plugin it runs as full-trust code inside the game, so only install it from a source you trust. Built for the game update of 24 September 2026 (0.0.1.20).
