The notification rework: alerts stop repeating themselves.

  • One event, one notification — alerts are keyed to the local day of the event they describe (the warm day, the rainy day, a meteor shower's peak night), so the same event is a single notification from first detection until its day passes — not a re-fire every few hours, every day, and every restart. Notified and dismissed state persists on disk.
  • Dismiss lasts until the event is over — acknowledge "warming Wednesday" once and it stays quiet through Wednesday. New per-row Dismiss and Mark-all-read buttons in the notification center; if a tracked event's details change, the logged entry updates in place without going unread again.
  • Quieter defaults — rain alerts skip trace amounts (≤1 mm at ≤60% odds), and rain/snow alerts say which day they mean.
