Mac with Apple silicon, macOS 13 or later. On Windows or Linux, run the browser edition from source.

Get started

ShowAI works inside the agent you already use: the plugin lets your agent build interfaces, and the ShowAI app keeps, opens and edits them.

  1. Open ShowAI.

  2. Connect your agent — the welcome screen finds Claude Code or Codex. Click Install plugin, then restart the agent.

  3. Ask for an interface — paste this into a new conversation:

    Use ShowAI to build a mortgage calculator: price, down payment, rate and term are adjustable; show the monthly payment and total interest.

What's new

New

  • Install the ShowAI plugin for Claude Code or Codex from the app — on the welcome screen or in Settings → Plugins. The app supplies the plugin and runtime, verifies the installed files, and shows when your agent first reaches ShowAI.
  • A welcome screen for new libraries: connect your agent, copy a sample prompt, or open the Examples project with three sample pages.
  • The Agent panel shows whether the agent is ready and, when it isn't, the next step (setup guide, API key, check again).
  • Move or delete several pages in a folder at once.
  • Select text across components, and syntax highlighting in code blocks.
  • Open local image and video originals from component links.
  • DeepSeek Harness (preview): prepare a complete plugin bundle from Settings → Plugins.

Improved

  • Conflict resolution shows both versions side by side as readable content, with the local version selected by default.
  • A redesigned rich-text selection toolbar.
  • Smoother motion for dialogs, tabs and loading states.
  • Empty projects and new pages explain how to ask your agent for an interface.

Fixed

  • Reopening a page merges retained drafts with newer agent edits instead of hiding them.
  • Pages opened in a new window get the complete ShowAI window.
  • Markdown import keeps highlights and deeper headings; heading spacing is preserved across flow groups.

Known issues

  • This build has not been notarized by Apple, so macOS may block the first launch. After trying to open ShowAI, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (Apple's instructions).
  • Intel Macs are not supported yet.
  • Plugin installation needs the agent's command-line tool (claude or codex). If ShowAI is already enabled from another source, disable it in the agent first.

Downloads

Signing and first launch

The app is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate. This preview has not been notarized by Apple, so macOS may block the first launch. If you trust this download, follow Apple’s instructions for opening an app that has not been notarized: after attempting to open ShowAI, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
