Breaking

  • SessionShimConfig.AcquireRecoveryScopes receives the founding primary
    receipt.
    The callback is now
func(ctx context.Context, attestation SessionShimHostAttestation, primary SessionShimScopeCredentialReceipt) ([]SessionShimScopeCredentialReceipt, error).
primary is the primary scope's receipt exactly as the founding round trip
resolved it (Scope, WorkerHostID, AdoptionRevision): the registration
on the inline path, the declaring refresh on a deferred install. It is
non-secret; embedders retain it for their own host-authority lookups instead
of re-deriving it. Embedders that set the hook must add the third parameter.

Fixes

  • The founding declaration resolves session-shim host authority, and nothing
    else may.
A deferred composition install demanded proof-v2 readiness inside
the very refresh that first presented its attestation, and an embedder whose
readiness resolver answers for the primary host could not answer before that
refresh's receipt existed. The only other way to learn the host id was to
present the attestation outside the credential refresher's lock, which raced
the running lanes: the control plane saw the posture flip-flop, answered an
attestation conflict, and revoked the losing credential. The readiness check
is now deferred for the founding refresh alone — it runs once the primary
receipt is retained and handed to the embedder — and every other refresh
checks readiness before adopting, exactly as before.
  • An install abandoned mid-window no longer leaves the daemon refusing all
    work.
While a composition install is pending, the daemon already presents
the composed attestation, so a poll tick or heartbeat projection resolve
could consult the embedder's readiness resolver before the founding receipt
existed and withdraw admission (spawner paused, state recovering, every
AcceptWork refused). A successful install self-heals through the
acknowledged heartbeat; a failed one rolled back the identity but left the
withdrawal standing. The rollback now restores the admission its own window
    closed.
  • An install that fails after the control plane accepted its attestation
    withdraws it.
The rollback re-declares the stand-down as soon as the
declaring round trip was accepted, not only once the receipts and readiness
behind it had also succeeded. A refresher left presenting a composition for a
daemon that is standing down was the same flip-flop from the other side.
