Windows 8.5.0 downloads are available here. Microsoft Store app 8.5.0 is also certified and published as package 1.4.0.0.

For Linux and macOS, use the separately verified portable source repair. It fixes no-key self-hosted connections on machines without a secure desktop keyring. The original 8.5.0 source snapshot attached here records the reviewed Windows build; the portable repair has its own immutable source tag and checksum. Repair and successful cross-platform checks.

What is included

  • Private API vault and Groq, Gemini, OpenRouter and Cerebras setup presets.
  • Opt-in fallback to approved free/self-hosted profiles after eligible failures before any output, with provider cooldowns and no automatic partial-response replay.
  • Text/code/CSV/JSON/selectable-text PDF attachments, readable conversation export and prompt reuse.
  • API screenshot input for explicitly configured vision models; bounded Windows accessibility scrolling, navigation, stale-window checks and Escape/Stop cancellation.
  • Offline project tools and working starters; optional user-configured read-only Gmail.
  • Removed legacy hosted ZeroThink and Zmail adapters.

Free allowances and billing depend on each provider account. No fixed free monthly token allowance or developer credentials are included. Keys stay session-only or encrypted in the operating system credential store.

Verification

The reviewed Windows source suite discovered 560 tests: 547 passed, 13 skipped. The fresh packaged executable passed all 23 recorded self-test checks and an isolated offscreen Qt preview. Its 55 frozen project modules match the reviewed Store executable after normalizing source filenames. Source and portable ZIP members, CRCs and checksums were verified; the installer includes application and dependency notices.

The portable repair adds eight regression tests. Its full local suite found 568 tests: 555 passed, 13 skipped. Its Linux/macOS workflow passed on both platforms, each running 451 tests with five skips. The original source-tag Ubuntu failure is preserved and explained in the repair record.

The direct Windows installer is unsigned and was not executed. These checks do not establish a clean-device install/upgrade, sustained model performance, live API entitlement or an installed-app upgrade on the owner's PC. Microsoft Store uses its separately certified package and its own update channel.
