Included

  • Standalone browser-only Shield .zmath vault: note and attachment encryption using separately derived passphrase and visual-pattern AES-256-GCM layers.
  • Generated passphrases, file or pasted-JSON recovery, safe attachment downloads, visible progress, clear actions and a local synthetic self-test.
  • Original Shield module and six tests preserved byte-for-byte.
  • Signed device-envelope research source and original tests preserved with exact hashes matching the published protected-communications paper; portable core tests included.
  • Existing ZME1 file/message app and 17-page historical QuantumEncryption1 archive retained.
  • No account, API key, database, retired company endpoint or required main node.

Verification

  • Existing three regression programs passed.
  • All 17 added named Node tests passed: six original vault cases, four interface/source cases and seven signed-envelope cases.
  • Actual Brave synthetic note encryption/decryption, wrong-passphrase rejection, input clearing and local self-test passed.
  • All 17 archive pages and source hashes verified.
  • Deterministic release contains 48 reviewed source/static files plus a per-file hash manifest; archive SHA-256 is supplied separately.

Research boundaries
The visual pattern has fewer than one million possible sequences, under 20 bits before user bias; a long unique passphrase provides the main strength. Two AES-256-GCM layers do not mean AES-512. The signed-envelope module is preserved historical/experimental research, not a live mail service, verified human identity directory or post-quantum protocol. Tests are author-controlled regression evidence, not independent cryptographic certification. Distinct older formats are not silently converted; original server factors remain necessary for legacy Exclusive files.

Newly published author-owned source remains under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0. Earlier research-paper licenses and previous grants retain their terms. No credentials, device private keys, user content or server-policy configuration are included.
