New

  • Sessions: timestamped chat messages (opt-in "Show timestamps") with a scroll-aware history rail.
  • Sessions: prefix a chat message with ! to run it as a shell command.
  • Sessions: the New session screen offers project skills in a slash menu.
  • Sessions: pick the provider for every debug session.
  • Agents: change the model for many project agents at once.
  • ACP: System One focus — Laya, CLM and Jev check each tool call. The Claude adapter auto-updates, shows an update notice, and lists CLI models in their own group.
  • Status bar: choose which usage window the bar shows.
  • Knowledge: long wiki documents are retrieved section by section.
  • Notifications: signed webhook delivery.
  • Ambient: speech context can be summarized through your own Claude subscription, with discovered ambient models and recommended summary providers.
  • Cloud: active cloud projects sync to new devices.

Fixes

  • Desktop: self-update no longer drops env keys that came from your .env, and a self-update stop is a handoff, not a hold. macOS self-updates get the keychain for headless calls.
  • Desktop: the tray backs up the database only after stopping services and keeps a single backup. Oversized empty databases are reclaimed at startup.
  • Windows: child processes and the terminal teardown no longer flash console windows; local-CLI adapters launch without a shell.
  • Security: wiki search and scoped documents now enforce project access.
  • Sessions: Discord and Slack-started sessions begin in the provider's full-access mode.
  • Chat: in-app links open as sessions instead of download chips; Return inserts line breaks in mobile prompts.
  • Agents: a long bulk-model list stays inside its scroll box.
  • Models: Claude model menus refresh after CLI upgrades; an inherited stage keeps its model on providers that offer it.
  • Cloud: favourites sync on no-login installs.
  • Git: credential helpers are reset before the session store helper; Cuttle's own checkout is never fast-forwarded by the repo updater.
  • Automations: results are detected reliably in more terminals.
  • Auth: provider sign-in reuses the identity already established; GitHub sign-in reads the one-time code when copied to the clipboard.

Known issues

  • macOS builds are Apple Silicon (arm64) only.
  • Windows installers are signed (Restart Labs LLC), but SmartScreen may still warn while the publisher builds reputation.
  • .deb installs don't auto-update; update through your package manager. The AppImage, Windows and macOS builds auto-update.
  • Linux has no automated install smoke test yet.
  • v0.9.0 can't auto-update. Reinstall manually once.
