Selected Obsidian configuration now travels with the vault through the same GitHub branch.

  • The dashboard can scan .obsidian/ and lists each config entry with a plain-language description — tick what should sync and save.
  • Appearance, editor settings, hotkeys, themes, snippets, and the enabled community plugins list are preselected, so other devices know which plugins to install from the marketplace.
  • Ticking a plugin's settings syncs its configuration; plugin code files are never uploaded, and workspace layout plus cache are always excluded.
  • The selection is stored per device and requires no protocol change: vault markers are untouched, and older versions simply keep ignoring configuration files.
