• The pre-push branch check now reads the head through the same consistent channel as the push mutation, so a lagging REST replica can no longer reject a fresh plan as stale; a genuinely moved branch replans automatically instead of surfacing a "Pull and try again" error.
• The scan spinner keeps spinning even when the system asks for reduced motion: it is functional feedback, not decoration.
