This is the first release of reximemoDNS, a local DNS helper for connecting Flipnote Studio to RexiMemo.
reximemoDNS is based on the open-source sudomemoDNS project and has been adapted specifically for RexiMemo.
What does it do?
Some networks or internet providers may prevent a Nintendo DSi from using RexiMemo's public DNS directly.
reximemoDNS runs on a Windows computer connected to the same local network as your Nintendo DSi. Your DSi sends its DNS requests to the computer, and reximemoDNS routes the Flipnote Studio services to RexiMemo.
Other DNS requests are forwarded normally, so reximemoDNS only handles the services it needs to.
The following Flipnote Studio service addresses are redirected to RexiMemo:
nas.nintendowifi.netflipnote.hatena.comugomemo.hatena.ne.jp
Other domains are forwarded to a normal DNS resolver.
