/alert

• Permission: level 2 (operator) by default.
• Running it opens the Send Alert screen only for the player who ran it — nobody else sees anything yet.

The Send Alert screen

Field	What it does
Message	Up to 256 characters. This is the text shown on the banner.
Color	8 presets: White, Yellow, Red, Green, Aqua, Gold, Pink, Orange. Colors the banner's border and title.
Duration	3–60 seconds. How long the banner stays on screen before fading out (fade starts in the last second).
Sound	Toggle on/off. When on, targeted players hear the alertmod:siren sound.
Players	The list of currently online players. Use Select All / Deselect All, or click individual names to toggle them.

Click Send Alert to fire it off. If every player is deselected, the alert goes out to everyone online (deselecting is treated as "no specific target", not "send to nobody"). Click Cancel to close the screen without sending anything.

What targeted players see

A bordered box appears centered on their screen with your message, in the color you picked. If sound was enabled, they hear the siren once. The banner fades out on its own after the duration you set — no interaction needed on their end.

Permission errors

If a player's permission is revoked between opening the screen and clicking Send (or the request reaches the server without the right permission level), the sender gets a chat message saying they don't have permission — nothing is sent.
