The projector's volume is named for its shape
The panel offered a Straight On tick, which says nothing about what the flag
picks between. It is two buttons now, Orthographic and Perspective, named the
way the engine names them - so the wiki, the guide, the manual and the add-on's
own README say the same.

How to switch a model's light on in game
A light lights the sectors that list it and that list lives in the mission's
scene2.bin, so a light exported in a model never comes on by itself - which
looks like the light being broken rather than unnamed.
Both halves are written out now: what the model has to carry (Enable in the
culling flags, a power, the two Lights switches, and an animated object count
that does not send the game looking for a .5ds that is not there), and what the
mission has to hold (the frame named after the model's object with a dot and
the light's name, no frame type, placed after the object, with the sectors and
the numbers each kind needs on its datablock).
With the two traps that cost the most time: Enable also takes the object out of
collision and sound, and a missing .5ds fails the whole model load and takes
every scene2.bin entry for it with it. Troubleshooting points here now.

Pages of their own for lights and projectors
Both had a paragraph inside Other Frame Types and neither was the whole of it.
Lights: the nine kinds and what each one does with the numbers it carries - the
three that light geometry, the four that set a sector's atmosphere and use
neither power nor cones, and the two that do neither - the falloff band, the
cones, every switch in the mode word, and why a light exported in a model does
nothing until a mission names it.
Projectors: the volume and how the frame's scale sets its size, both shapes,
all three falloffs with the trap that a surface at the far face of a linear one
takes nothing, both blends and what each is for, exactly what the material
gives it and what it does not, and that the viewport paints it now - including
the one thing it cannot do, since Blender composites an overlay over the scene
rather than adding into it.
Also: a line for cameras, which nothing covered, and 1.0.2 throughout.

1.0.1: the frame rate is not a choice, and eased keys are not resampled
The animation page said the export resamples keys at any rate and resamples
anything eased. Neither was ever true: keys go out on the frames they were put
on, and a scene off the game's 25 frames a second is now refused rather than
written at the wrong speed. Adds Write Its Track to the export options and the
refusal to the checks page.
