RASSFM-MATLAB: A MATLAB implementation of the robust and adaptive spatial-spectral fusion model for PlanetScope and Sentinel-2 imagery

This release is the MATLAB implementation of the Robust and Adaptive Spatial-Spectral image Fusion Model (RASSFM 1.0). It aims to blend the 4 PlanetScope 3-m bands (Blue, Green, Red, NIR) across its three generations of sensors (PS2, PS2.SD, and PSB.SD) and the 10 Sentinel-2 10-m and 20-m bands (Blue, Green, Red, RE1, RE2, RE3, NIR, SWIR1, SWIR2) to generate 10 synthetic 3-m bands. The fused image has both spatial and spectral strengths of PlanetScope and Sentinel-2, which can support various downstream applications that require high spatial-spectral resolution imagery. This code package can also be modified for fusing other satellite imagery with similar characteristics.
