Highlights

tedasuke now runs on more than just Deno. The main entry uses only fetch() and standard Web APIs, so it works unchanged on Deno, Node.js (≥18), Bun, and Cloudflare Workers. The Deno-only filesystem cache moves into a separate import so non-Deno consumers don't pull in any FS code.

Breaking changes

fetchWithCache, saveToCache, loadFromCache, getCacheInfo, and clearCache are no longer exported from the main @rick/tedasuke entry. They now live at @rick/tedasuke/cache.

Migration:

- import { TeamDeskClient, fetchWithCache } from "@rick/tedasuke";
+ import { TeamDeskClient } from "@rick/tedasuke";
+ import { fetchWithCache } from "@rick/tedasuke/cache";

If you only use TeamDeskClient, TableClient, error classes, or types — no change required.

Runtime compatibility

Runtime @rick/tedasuke @rick/tedasuke/cache
Deno ✅ ✅
Node.js ≥ 18 ✅ ❌ (uses Deno.* FS APIs)
Bun ✅ ❌
Cloudflare Workers ✅ ❌ (no filesystem)
Browsers ⚠️ TeamDesk REST typically blocks CORS ❌

Other changes

  • Module-level JSDoc on both entries — JSR Overview tab now has runtime info, install commands per runtime, and quick-start examples.
  • New Cloudflare Workers example in the README.
  • First release published via GitHub Actions with provenance (OIDC).
