What's included

  • Thirteen conversation keys with actual chat titles, readable two-line labels, stable numbers and local aliases.
  • Original Aurora Silk motion: blue running, amber waiting, green unread completion, red error and dim neutral idle.
  • Optional D200H wide overview: large usage percentage, reset countdown, running / waiting / error counts. All thirteen conversation keys remain available.
  • Portable profile discovery and opt-in setup, a 30-second default usage refresh, and explicit unavailable / stale / offline states.
  • Read-only diagnostics, non-interrupting launchers, strict usage normalization and browser request guards.
  • English and Chinese onboarding, eight plugin languages, source and prebuilt plugin, and SHA-256 checksums.

Install

Download OpenCodexMicro-Aurora-0.5.0-macos-arm64.zip and SHA256SUMS, verify the checksum, and extract the ZIP. From the extracted folder:

npm ci
npm run install:plugin
npm run setup

Save work and quit Ulanzi Studio normally before replacing the plugin. Reopen Studio; save work and quit the normally launched ChatGPT/Codex app, then launch ~/Applications/Codex Bridge.app. Add Task 1–13 to the small keys. For the native wide panel, choose Pure background with no image, then run npm run setup:overview -- --enable.

Compatibility and verification

macOS 13+ on Apple Silicon, Ulanzi D200H, Ulanzi Studio 3.4.4. Physical layout, key animation and native wide-panel readability have been verified on a D200H. The current automated suite has 80 root tests, 68 plugin tests and a plugin integration smoke test. The release ZIP contains 129 audited files and a per-file SHA-256 manifest.

The desktop adapter uses internal interfaces; app updates can require a compatibility update. The native wide-panel route is disabled on unverified Studio versions. Intel, other hardware, Windows and Linux are not validated. Usage shows only windows actually supplied by the desktop app; it is not a token or credit estimate.

CDP is a privileged local connection. Do not forward its ports. See security.
