Hi, I am a researcher working on my Master's degree at the University of Oklahoma, and I am hoping to run BRAT over a subsection of Pryor Creek in Pryor, Oklahoma with some higher resolution topographical information that I will collect soon. In the meantime, I found that Pryor Creek as a whole was already modeled by Riverscape's CyberCastor. Pryor Creek's HUC is 1107020904, but I am focusing on Salt Branch Creek, which is just North of the town of Pryor. My question is why does BRAT not give an existing dam capacity for the whole part of the stream? Is it because of the lower resolution of topographical information? Or something else?
I included a picture of the segment I am looking at and circled some parts of the stream without a predictive existing dam capacity in purple. I would love it if anyone could enlighten me on this!
Also, for the rest of the stream that has a color-coded existing dam capacity, how can you tell what is causing the model to list that reach segment as having that dam capacity? For example, in some of the Riverscapes BRAT demonstration videos, there are color coding indexes for "this stream is limited due to stream power" or "too high/low of a slope" or "limited vegetation" and so on. However, I do not see that information on the CyberCastor results. How can I see these notes or figure out what is limiting the dam capacity?
