@RoachxD RoachxD released this 10 Jan 18:31
827cfc4

This release focuses on making your saved outfits load reliably on both Mono and IL2CPP, while cleaning up the menu plumbing and trimming log noise.

Highlights

  • Refactored clothing handling into focused services (applicator, color data repo, utility seeder, definition resolver) so the pipeline is leaner and easier to maintain.
  • Cached Mono registry lookups with alias support to resolve clothing definitions consistently across runtimes.
  • Reduced duplicate ClothingUtility seeding and log spam during menu load; removed redundant IL2CPP padding.
  • Clarified scene enter/exit handling and menu positioning helpers without changing user-facing behavior.

Which file to download?

  • For the standard IL2CPP version of the game (most players): download HonestMainMenu.Il2Cpp.dll.
  • For the Mono version of the game: download HonestMainMenu.Mono.dll.

Installation

  1. Ensure you have MelonLoader installed for Schedule I.
  2. Download the appropriate *.dll from the assets below based on your game version.
  3. Place it into the Mods folder in your Schedule I game directory.
  4. Launch the game; your menu buttons and outfits should “just work” on both Mono and IL2CPP.

Honest Main Menu v1.0.1 – Hardened continue button

@RoachxD RoachxD released this 15 Nov 14:17

This release makes the "Continue" button more robust across different Schedule I builds and adds better user-facing feedback when something goes wrong.

What's changed

  • Update LoadManager.StartGame usage to prefer the new overload and fall back to the legacy signature when it’s missing (e.g. on older game builds).
  • Add logging and a popup error message when continuing the last game fails, instead of failing silently.

  2. Download the appropriate *.dll from the assets below.
  3. Place it into the Mods folder in your Schedule I game directory.
  4. Launch the game and enjoy a more reliable continue flow.

Honest Main Menu v1.0.0 is here!

Choose a tag to compare

@RoachxD RoachxD released this 14 Jun 14:34

This initial release introduces Honest Main Menu, a MelonLoader mod for Schedule I that's tired of the main menu's little white lies. If you've ever squinted at the "Continue" button with suspicion or wondered why the menu reloads more times than a nervous rookie, this mod is for you.

Key Features:

  • A Real "Continue" Button: Adds a new button that actually continues your most recent game. No more detours!
  • "Load Game" Gets Honest: The original "Continue" button is now properly labeled "Load Game," and its screen title matches. Clarity at last!
  • Truthful UI Prompts: The misleading "RMB" for back in the main menu has been shown the door. Escape is your one true friend here.
  • Scene Load Sanity (Patches.SceneManagerLoadScenePatch): Helps prevent the "Menu" scene (and others) from its enthusiastic habit of loading multiple times in a row.
  • Dual Build Delights: Comes in both IL2CPP (default) and Mono flavors to suit your game's persuasion.
  • Smart Buttons: The new "Continue" and "Load Game" buttons only light up if you actually have saves. No teasing.

Which file to download?

  • If your game is the standard IL2CPP version (this is the default for most players), download HonestMainMenu.Il2Cpp.dll.
  • If you are using the alternate Mono version of the game, download HonestMainMenu.Mono.dll.

Installation:

  1. Ensure you have MelonLoader (v0.7.x or compatible) installed for Schedule I.
  2. Download the appropriate *.dll file from the assets below based on your game version.
  3. Place the downloaded *.dll file into the Mods folder within your Schedule I game directory.
  4. Launch the game and enjoy a less deceptive main menu!
