What changed

  • Added official-first Blender Lab MCP support while preserving ahujasid MCP and its legacy-only asset tools.
  • Added checked Unreal collision FBX export and Multires level-0 cage-normal baking/export.
  • Made the shared 30-skill pack agent-neutral, with documented Codex and Claude Code installation paths.
  • Fixed Blender 5.1 compatibility defects in camera-orbit Actions, EEVEE settings, and decimation.
  • Added reproducible host, Blender, MCP, fixture, and native Codex evidence.

Thank you

Thank you to fatalerrorist for PR #1 and NicoCaltha for PR #2. Both contributions exposed important gaps and supplied the foundation for this maintenance release.

Sorry it took me a while to respond. I've been head-down in a gazillion other projects. I hope these updates make the skill more useful for everyone using it.

Tested

  • 30/30 Codex skill metadata validations
  • 6/6 host checks
  • 12/12 Blender export checks on Blender 5.1.1
  • 35/35 core checks through ahujasid MCP
  • 35/35 core checks through official MCP
  • Bounded native Codex workflows for discovery, materials, rendering, animation, GLB, and collision FBX

Feedback wanted

Claude Code users are especially invited to test discovery, automatic routing, explicit invocation, and backend selection. The full 225-query/ten-scenario matrix, Unreal Engine imports, Blender 4.x/post-5.1 behavior, and external provider integrations remain documented validation gaps.

Please use the repository bug template or open a focused PR. Include client, Blender and MCP versions; exact prompt; invocation mode; installation scope; expected and actual behavior; and sanitized logs or renders.

See the repository README and docs/test-results/v1.4.0-integration.md for the exact validation boundary.
