• Much lighter with many terminals. Running lots of terminals — or several agents at full output at once — now does about 95% less background work, so typing stays instant and the app stays light even with a dozen-plus busy sessions. Under a heavy load that used to max out UnionTerminal's engine, it now sits around 90% idle — a huge margin before anything can bog down. Heavy output feels smooth, with far fewer little stutters.
• Leaner startup. UnionTerminal now starts with a ~16% smaller core, and the file-preview view loads the first time you open a preview instead of at launch — so the app is quicker to get going.
