BetterDailyQuest 0.0.9 adds distance-based player quest types.

Added

  • WALK tasks count walking, sprinting, and sneaking distance in blocks.
  • SWIM tasks count swimming distance in blocks.
  • Fresh installations include the daily Traveler and weekly Swimmer quests.

Reliability

  • Movement tracking now initializes already-online players safely.
  • Statistic resets and non-positive changes no longer grant progress.
  • Player baselines are cleared on disconnect.

Verification

  • All tests and the shaded JAR build passed.
  • All 32 default quests loaded with clean shutdown on Paper 1.8.8 and Paper 26.2.
  • Manual walking, sprinting, sneaking, swimming, completion, and persistence were confirmed.
