Robotweax SRT 0.2.8
Robotweax SRT 0.2.8 adds runtime and resource improvements, input-validation hardening, explicit Control/Sensor profiles and default-off session authentication version 2.
Live recovery follows the observed Haivision 1.5.7 policy for peers advertising periodic NAKs: late ACKs alone do not trigger blind DATA retransmission. Complete finite transfers use File mode, which retains timeout recovery and final-packet delivery. Sender drop deadlines start at first transmission, and delayed key-rotation responses permit bounded continued use of the current transmit key.
Project version 0.2.8, C ABI 0.2, compatible SRT API 1.5.7. OpenSSL/AES-CTR remains the default. GCM, MAXREXMITBW and session authentication require explicit opt-ins; BCrypt remains experimental. Source-tree C++ consumers must rebuild.
See the release notes, release acceptance record and known limitations for exact scope and remaining compatibility, security and deployment limits.
Qualification passed on the immutable v0.2.8 tag: full CI and integrations, package consumers, Linux packages, and Windows SDK qualification, independent rebuild and signing. Both signed SDK downloads were compared byte-for-byte with the qualified CI artifact.
The attached OpenSSL and experimental BCrypt installers carry Robotweax GmbH Authenticode signatures and trusted timestamps. SHA256SUMS contains the checksums of the final signed files; tag-provenance.json records the annotated tag object and source commit.
