The previous Windows installer was based on a very old software version (0.8.31). Because of problems with the pyinstaller software, a new installer could not be produced for a long time. On Windows computers, therefore, the only way to get the current software was to install Python 3 manually, and then PSS via PyPI. Now, finally, the pyinstaller problems are fixed.
With this release, a Windows installer based on the latest PSS version 0.9.8 is made available. If you have installed an earlier PSS version using a Windows installer, please first uninstall it (using the uninstaller in the program folder), and then run the new Windows installer below.
If you have installed a PSS version older than 0.9.8 via PyPI, you can upgrade to version 0.9.8 by just entering "pip3 install --upgrade planetary-system-stacker" in a terminal.
