KLEP 2.0.0-preview.3 makes the lower, animal-experience branch concrete without claiming imagination or general planning.

What changed

  • Added an independent Desire authority for authored preferred conditions, satisfaction, deficit, pressure, and attributed transition effects.
  • Added Learned Expectations for empirical Desire-effect estimates, support, variance, prediction error, and confidence.
  • Added an eligibility-gated Agent policy that may use learned Desire evidence while preserving Lock authority.
  • Added KLEPIntentionState V1 as the Agent's post-decision Goal commitment ledger.
  • Added timestamped, copyable HumanSighting Keys and deterministic freshest-report routing across Neurons.
  • Closed one factual zombie bite through Desire, Ethics, Emotion, Memory, and the learned critic.
  • Hardened accepted catalog removals so teardown faults cannot leave the Agent's structural map lying about its surviving catalog.

Artifacts

  • com.roll4d4.klep-2.0.0-preview.3.tgz — Unity Package Manager tarball. Install with Package Manager > + > Install package from tarball.
  • KLEPZombieShowcase-Windows-2.0.0-preview.3.zip — standalone Windows demonstration. Extract the complete archive and run KLEPZombieShowcase.exe.
  • KLEP-2.0.0-preview.3-SHA256SUMS.txt — SHA-256 checksums for both binaries.

The tested Unity developer distribution and installation notes also live on itch.io.

Validation boundary

  • Public engine-independent repository: 17 suites / 4,676 assertion executions, plus deterministic minimal-consumer replay.
  • Full Unity workspace: 21 runnable suites / 4,814 assertion executions.
  • Exact tarball installed and compiled in a new Unity 6000.5.4f1 project.
  • Windows showcase built from a new isolated Unity project with strict build mode; the resulting player reached engine initialization without logged runtime errors in a bounded headless startup smoke.

Those are project-authored regression assertions, not independent validation. This release has no automated Unity Play Mode behavior suite, benchmark evidence, stable-API promise, general planner, or imagination model.
