Foundry module v1.1.93

Choose a tag to compare

@RollSight RollSight released this 10 Oct 21:22

v1.1.93 - 2026-10-10

  • Cancelling a physical-dice request restores the original Foundry chat card. The connection panel shows whether a roll was delivered through chat, a dice prompt, or ignored after cancellation.
  • Chat-only and repeated rolls preserve their delivery status and replay behavior across reconnects and retries.

Update the Foundry module and reload the world and player tabs. This release pairs with desktop 1.2.13 for the cancellation and chat-delivery fixes.

@RollSight RollSight released this 04 Oct 22:00

v1.1.92 - 2026-10-04

  • Foundry /stream chat now hides RollSight replay labels, controls and animations, including older replay markup. Roll results remain visible.
  • Regular Foundry chat keeps each player's replay preference. Separate OBS replay overlay URLs are unchanged.

Update the Foundry module and refresh the OBS /stream Browser Source cache. No desktop update or manual Chromium preference change is needed.

@RollSight RollSight released this 04 Oct 21:52

v1.1.91 - 2026-10-04

  • Choose combat-turn scenes from a list fetched directly from OBS. Exact names and spaces are preserved; missing saved scenes are flagged before saving.
  • Scene control supports local-network HTTP Foundry URLs and OBS Browser Sources with Advanced or Full access.
  • Setup guidance now explains permissions for each Foundry Browser Source, operator selection, pause/resume and settings saved between sessions.

Update the module, reload the GM window, and refresh the OBS /stream Browser Source cache. Set Page permissions to Advanced or Full access on each Foundry Browser Source, including /game and /stream. No desktop update or OBS WebSocket setup is required for native Browser Source control.

Foundry module v1.1.90

@RollSight RollSight released this 02 Oct 02:29
  • A saved legacy extension setting now warns that cloud reception is paused. Use cloud reception restores cloud delivery without discarding the saved table link.
  • Roll replays stay collapsed by default for new client settings; viewers can expand them when needed. Existing client preferences remain in place.
  • OBS turn switching and the connection panel handle delayed timers and narrow screens more reliably.

Update the Foundry module and reload the world. Refresh the OBS browser source if you use it.

Foundry module v1.1.89

@RollSight RollSight released this 30 Sep 23:51

v1.1.89 - 2026-09-30

  • Replays now appear in Foundry's /stream chat view used by OBS Utils and expand automatically for the broadcast.
  • Stream viewers can display replays without connecting as a RollSight dice sender. Hidden roll contents remain hidden.

Update the Foundry module, reload the world, and refresh the OBS browser source. No RollSight desktop update is required.

Foundry module v1.1.88

@RollSight RollSight released this 30 Sep 06:37

v1.1.88 - 2026-09-30

  • Choose Let Foundry Roll for electronic dice, or Cancel Roll to stop the requested roll.
  • Improved replay delivery when multiple players roll at the same time, with recovery from temporary connection and chat-post failures.
  • Replays that are still uploading retry their preview instead of staying stuck after a brief interruption.

Update the module to 1.1.88 and the RollSight desktop app to 1.2.9, then reload player browser tabs. Cancelling a roll does not reverse resources a game system already spent before opening its roll prompt.

RollSight Foundry Module 1.1.87

@RollSight RollSight released this 24 Sep 18:58

New roll requests automatically receive physical dice, including damage rolls following an attack. The extra “Use this roll” and “Stop receiving dice” buttons have been removed.

The RollSight prompt prominently shows only the physical dice still needed, without the modifiers Foundry applies. When several prompts are open, the newest receives dice first; earlier prompts resume when it closes. Extra dice from a single throw never spill into another request.

Update the module in Foundry Setup, then reload the world and player browser tabs. No desktop update is required.

RollSight Foundry Module 1.1.86

@RollSight RollSight released this 24 Sep 02:11

Fix missing RollSight Replay panels on D&D skill checks and other system-rendered chat cards. Replays are restored after D&D finishes rendering, while retaining existing duplicate prevention and visibility checks.

Validated with 48 passing functional tests and a user-confirmed local skill check. Update the module, reopen the world, and reload player tabs. Existing replay metadata is retained. This module release does not include the separate desktop replay-upload fix.

RollSight Foundry 1.1.85

@RollSight RollSight released this 24 Sep 01:48

RollSight now sets up the cloud world link automatically when a GM first opens an unlinked world with the module enabled. Existing world links and player codes are preserved.

  • Each player still copies their own player code from Settings → Connect RollSight into the desktop app.
  • Set up this world remains available as a retry if automatic setup fails.
  • The elected GM and same-user tab coordination avoid competing setup requests during normal startup.
  • Browser-extension setups remain unchanged. No desktop update is required.

After updating, reopen the world and reload player tabs. Test automatic setup in an unlinked test world; already-linked worlds intentionally keep their existing setup.

Validation: functional module regression suite, including automatic setup, duplicate GM tabs, failure recovery, HTTP connections, physical roll fulfillment, percentile dice and replay metadata. Actual multi-client Foundry testing remains necessary; room creation is not server-idempotent across crashes or isolated socket partitions. Existing translation work remains deferred; this change adds no UI strings.

RollSight Foundry 1.1.84

@RollSight RollSight released this 24 Sep 01:09

RollSight Foundry 1.1.84

  • Fix player connections to Foundry servers accessed over HTTP, including matching delivery identifiers across HTTP and HTTPS clients.
  • Add Connect RollSight directly to the Settings sidebar, with a prominent player code and clear desktop setup instructions.
  • Simplify module connection actions and show Reconnect to RollSight only when recovery is needed.
  • Hide stale player codes after connection failure.
  • Support percentile dice pairs in requested d100 rolls and direct chat, including 00 + 10 = 100.

Update from Foundry Setup → Add-on Modules, then reload all player browsers. Existing player codes continue to work; no desktop update or database migration is required.

Validation: 41 functional tests pass. The connection-panel browser regression passed before packaging. Live validation on the reported remote server remains pending. New connection-panel translations are deferred to the planned language audit; translation completeness is not claimed for this release.
