Roomote v0.39.1
0.39.1 (2026-08-14)
This patch adds guided automation recommendations during setup and strengthens Goal Mode, chat continuity, snapshots, provider compatibility, and task controls.
Highlights
- Review and apply repository-aware automation recommendations during setup.
- Use
/goalfrom Discord while keeping objective context intact across follow-ups. - Keep chat threads usable when tasks finish silently or are deleted.
- Improve snapshot recovery, provider compatibility, artifact progress, and model controls.
Patch changes
- Recommend useful automations during setup based on connected repository activity, with controls to review and apply the recommendations before continuing.
- Keep chat conversations usable by delivering a fallback response when a task finishes without a final message and releasing Slack, Discord, Teams, and Telegram threads after their task is deleted.
- Add Discord's
/goalcommand for keeping Roomote focused on an objective across multiple turns, while preserving Goal Mode context through follow-ups and keeping internal lifecycle instructions out of agent prompts. - Format Discord pull-request review resolutions as subdued status text so action results are easier to distinguish from the main review message.
- Remove an unused environment endpoint that could expose raw environment configuration while leaving task launches, environment updates, and verification unchanged (thanks @canblmz1 for reporting).
- Improve provider and agent compatibility by restoring MCP access for judge and advisor agents, recommending GPT 5.6 Luna for GitHub Copilot, reducing expected Modal lookup noise, cleaning up legacy-provider OIDC refreshes, and supporting nullable-array MCP schemas with Gemini.
- Make environment snapshots more reliable by pacing background refreshes, preserving actionable launch diagnostics, recording failed snapshots accurately, and finalizing runs whose sandboxes disappear before a snapshot completes.
- Improve task visibility and control with artifact-build progress and direct task links, a clearer responsive model selector, and more concise, structured custom automation reports by default.
- Let Discord
/goaltasks complete or block normally by preserving the final Goal Mode context through activation. - Use a concise, first-person message when a chat task finishes without another response.
