iSpotify 19.4.0

This feature release adds hidden easter eggs, smoother motion, and interface polish throughout the desktop app.

New easter eggs

  • Type disco, or enter the Konami code, for a temporary colour animation.
  • Type vinyl to turn the player artwork into a spinning record.
  • Type zen to hide the sidebar; press Escape or type zen again to restore it.
  • Click the logo five times quickly to reveal library statistics.
  • Push the volume beyond 100 for a small Spinal Tap reference.

Typed triggers stay disabled while a text field has focus, and none of the effects are persisted.

Motion and interface improvements

  • Added a sliding sidebar selection indicator.
  • Added fade-and-rise page transitions.
  • Added tactile hover and press motion to icon buttons without layout shifts.
  • Added smooth mouse-wheel scrolling across pages.
  • Added animated download progress that resets correctly during retries.

Fixes

  • Corrected corrupted characters in the audio-output label.
  • Fixed missing record grooves in Qt's SVG renderer.
  • Corrected the hero headline alignment.

Validation

  • 56 automated tests pass.
  • Windows and Linux release workflows built and published successfully.
