Graphic Runner v0.3.0 Public Beta

This release turns Type Lab into a dedicated custom-typeface workspace while keeping the application source private.

Type Lab

  • Build a reusable font sheet one character at a time.
  • Add or remove characters and reopen any saved letter for revision.
  • Place a per-letter PNG, JPEG, or WebP reference, including a photograph of hand-drawn lettering.
  • Trace the reference with a pen tool and edit individual nodes.
  • Create multiple contours for counters and holes in letters such as A, B, O, and P.
  • Close paths, undo nodes, clear outlines, and adjust each character's advance width.
  • Preview words using the completed custom glyphs.
  • Save and reopen font-sheet glyphs, contours, reference images, and settings in Graphic Runner projects.

Type Lab is now separate from normal Text mode. Text remains the place for installed fonts and ordinary typography; Type Lab is for constructing original vector letterforms.

Application source code is private and is not included in this repository or the downloadable packages.

Each archive includes README_FIRST.txt, a plain-language acceptable-use and beta notice, LICENSE.txt, the complete EULA v2.2 presented for acceptance on first launch, and THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. The acceptance screen displays both the use notice and full EULA, and requires users to acknowledge and agree to both.

EULA v2.2 clarifies user responsibility for content and output, rights required when tracing or reproducing references, and the prohibition against redistributing, selling, rebranding, relabeling, hosting, or passing off Graphic Runner as another person's product. Sharing the official release link remains allowed.

The Windows executable is not yet digitally signed, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may report an unknown publisher. Verify the archive before running it.
