Lanrunner 0.1.6 beta is a privacy and usability patch for Windows and native Linux.

Highlights:

  • Chat transcripts are session-only and are never written to disk.
  • Reopening Lanrunner starts with an empty room while preserving the same local identity and trusted-peer store.
  • Legacy history/*.jsonl transcripts from earlier beta builds are safely removed on startup.
  • CLEAR ROOM / CLEAR MESSAGES erases the active in-memory conversation without changing peers, identity, trust, ports, or networking.
  • EXIT APP still closes Lanrunner and releases its UI, TCP, and discovery ports.
  • The public landing page includes a compact authentic app-preview gallery.

Verify downloads with the attached SHA256SUMS.txt.

This is beta software. Only test it on networks and devices you control.
