Early alpha desktop build. Back up important rigs before use.

  • Fixed NAM downloads to send the model name in the format HeadRush expects. Saving now checks that the downloaded file is present and shows useful errors or confirmation.
  • Added a save popup with a model name, NAM file or audition rig choice, and a destination browser starting at Neural Amp Modeler/User. You can select existing NAM folders and subfolders.
  • Saving to Neural Amp Modeler/Tone 3000 works directly over Wi-Fi. Other destinations use a guided USB Transfer step: open USB Transfer on HeadRush, connect it to your computer, and select the mounted drive's Neural Amp Modeler folder. After copying, eject the drive and tap Sync on HeadRush. The original download is preserved. Existing destination files are kept; rename and retry if needed.
  • USB copying and the eject/Sync confirmation stay accessible when USB Transfer disconnects Wi-Fi.
  • HeadRush does not provide a default volume setting for standalone NAM files. Save an audition rig to recall the current NAM output level with its effects.

Validation passed: 755 application tests with coverage thresholds met, two shuffled runs of all 755 tests, native tests on Windows, Linux, Apple Silicon macOS and Intel macOS, and 42 browser tests including the NAM save flow at desktop and phone sizes. Physical-device USB Transfer testing remains unverified.

Windows x64 installers are unsigned. Linux packages remain preview builds: GUI startup, device discovery, and live hardware interaction require Linux smoke testing; StageHand MIDI input depends on Web MIDI availability. RushLink is an unofficial companion and is not affiliated with HeadRush or inMusic.

macOS preview installers are included for Apple Silicon (RushLink_0.1.1_aarch64.dmg) and Intel (RushLink_0.1.1_x64.dmg). These builds are ad-hoc signed and have not been notarized by Apple; macOS may block or warn when opening them.

Both Mac builds passed native tests, release payload checks, packaged-app signature/version/architecture checks, DMG integrity checks, and SHA-256 verification. Mac GUI startup and live HeadRush interaction still need manual testing. Per-architecture checksum files are included with the downloads.
