SteamBuildUploader Wiki

Welcome to the SteamBuildUploader wiki!

The app is simple to use, setup is only required once.
Follow this guide for the initial configuration.

🧭 First Launch

  1. When you first launch the app, you’ll see a Welcome Popup.
    You can choose to:

    • Hide it indefinitely

    • Show it only when updates are available

    • Or make it appear every time you open the app

The popup also includes the Changelog, so it’s handy to keep it enabled.

  2. After closing the popup, the main window will appear:

    Main Window

  3. Click on Setup — both setup buttons do the same thing.

Otherwise, you can create them manually.

  4. Click Create App, fill in the fields, then click Create Depot.
If the depot doesn’t appear, click the app panel to expand it (it’s foldable).
