eidolons v4.4.1
Patch: fixes #640, where an explicit Cursor-only profile in a mixed-host project could leave Codex agents inheriting the parent model while the lock reported one global model.
Fixed
- Resolve and record models per wired host. An explicit profile that does not apply to a managed host now fails with a host-specific migration hint before sync installs agents; an absent profile still selects a compatible host default.
- Write both the model and reasoning effort into managed Codex agent descriptors. The lock and
eidolons model showexpose host-specific configuration, and doctor checks Codex model and effort drift. Host runtime qualification and observed model use remain unknown until independently verified. - Validate model policy before add, sync, and member upgrade mutations; reapply model and effort pins after upgraded descriptors are installed and refresh their lock provenance. Opting a host out removes Eidolons-owned pins on Claude, Cursor, and Codex.
- Make Codex routing-hook failures visible under the configured
fail-open,warn, orfail-closedpolicy, without treating a local hook check as proof that Codex invoked the hook.
Added
- Managed Codex projects pin unnamed children to the selected profile's light model and effort by default.
models.codex.unnamed_subagentscan override both, set an optional concurrency limit, or explicitly selectinherit: trueto retain parent inheritance. eidolons harness check --smoke --host codexchecks installed hook registration and runs the local SessionStart and UserPromptSubmit routing shims on a fixed prompt without a model call. It reports Codex runtime qualification as unknown.
