Multilingual AI navigator that helps Indian citizens discover government welfare schemes they qualify for — just by describing their situation in plain Hindi or English.

🚀 Local Development

1. Get a Gemini API Key

Go to https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey → Create API key (free)

2. Configure Backend

cp .env.example .env

3. Install & Run

# Terminal 1 — Backend (port 3001)

npm install
npm run dev

# Terminal 2 — Frontend (port 3000)

☁️ AWS Deployment

Deployed on a single AWS EC2 t3.small (Amazon Linux 2023, ap-southeast-1).

• Backend (Express) serves both the API and the built React frontend as static files
• HTTPS provided via Cloudflare Tunnel (no SSL cert needed)
• Backend managed by PM2 for auto-restart

Deploy from scratch

# 1. Launch EC2 with userdata.sh (auto-installs everything)
