Welcome to the UltimateHealth Web 2.8.0 release! This update brings massive improvements to the web platform, introducing robust new pages, highly requested features like pagination, UI revamps, and numerous bug fixes to deliver a smoother, faster, and more beautiful experience.
✨ New Features & Enhancements
🌟 Platform & UI Revamps
- Brand New Contributors Wall (
/our-contributors): A dedicated, dynamic wall honoring our amazing 2024 and 2026 contributors, complete with live search, year-based filtering, and a pinned Project Admin section. - Refined Landing Page & Upcoming Features: The homepage features section has been concised into 9 essential cards. We've also added a stunning new "Upcoming Features (Oct – Nov 2026)" dark-mode section teasing our next big open-source modules (AI Personal Chat, Hospital Learning System, Connect with a Doctor, and AI Health Analytics).
- Infinite App Experience Carousel: Upgraded the "Screenshots" section to an infinite circular carousel for a premium app preview experience.
- Dark/Light Mode Toggle: Implemented a new theme toggle directly in the navigation bar for personalized viewing preferences.
📚 Articles & Content
- Dynamic Article Pagination: Implemented dynamic fetching and pagination for articles via the API.
- Export to PDF: Added a new "Print/Export as PDF" button to the article detail page.
- Sticky Table of Contents: Introduced a sticky TOC sidebar on article pages for seamless long-form reading navigation.
🌐 Glossary & Navigation
- Comprehensive Medical Glossary: Added extensive new medical glossary categories and entries.
- Enhanced Navigation Consistency: Unified the navbar experience across the Medical Glossary, Articles, and Contributors pages.
- Programs Participated: Added the GSSoC 2026 program to the participation timeline.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Optimizations
- Layout & Alignment: Resolved overlapping hero text, horizontal overflow issues, and center-alignment bugs on the
/articlesand Medical Glossary pages. - Responsive Design: Fixed layout overlaps on ultra-small (280px) viewports and resolved navbar shrinking issues on laptop screens.
- Form Validations: Added inline validation errors for invalid characters in the Name field and implemented client-side validation for empty authentication inputs.
- API Normalization: Fixed API request URL normalizations and corrected the contact form endpoint to
/api/contact. - Component Stability: Resolved duplicate keys and rendering issues on the Medical Glossary page. Made signature bounds validation deterministic.
- Carousel Fixes: Paused auto-slide on manual navigation and optimized intervals.
