Multiplayer

Users can actively play with each other on a network.

O2 System

Have a health system in the form of oxygen, presented in the HUD.

Pickup and Interact

Allow players to interact with objects, items, and other items with this property.

Movement

Be able to move the cardinal directions and diagonals, mimicking the sluggish movement of water.

Enemies

Encounter enemies to avoid or retaliate against.

Pirate and Submersible

Encounter enemy divers and their submersible (frequency?), either avoiding or actively attacking.

Items to fight back against enemies (stuns, etc.)

Be able to purchase items to use during expeditions.

Buildings

Explore features of a map to loot for artifacts.

Hub area

Provide a location for player to purchase items for their expedition.

Randomize System

Randomize the locations of buildings and other features of a map so that no map is consistent; enforcing procedural generation.

Oxygen Replenishment system

Incorporate ways for player to recover oxygen. It could be an item purchased or found during game-play.

Communication

Be able to communicate with other players via an emoting system.

Classes

Choose which class best suits the player, choice limited if already taken.

DESIRED

Skill Progression Players can unlock skill trees, improving their abilities.

Health System Health depletes when oxygen runs out.
