Licensing Compliance

• The system relies on open-source tools with permissive licenses:
  • Blender (GPL) – requires add-ons to remain open source.
  • FastAPI (MIT)
  • PostgreSQL (PostgreSQL License)
  • MinIO (AGPLv3)
  • React (MIT)
  • Tailwind CSS (MIT)
• We will maintain proper attributions and follow all redistribution requirements.
• The Blender add-on component will remain open source to comply with GPL.

Intellectual Property Rights

• All 3D models, textures, and assets uploaded by users remain their property.
• Our system does not claim ownership or usage rights.
• The platform will:
  • Require users to agree that they own or have rights to uploaded content.
  • Never redistribute assets without consent.

Data and Content Liability

• Users could upload copyrighted or offensive material.
• We will:
  • Include a terms of service and acceptable use policy.
  • Implement a DMCA-style takedown process.
  • Remove or suspend accounts violating IP or content policies.

Ownership and Client Constraints

• If used by teams or organizations, project data ownership will follow client agreements.
• Any custom implementation will respect institutional or partner data policies.
